Luke hit a big milestone today (at least in my mind) when he chewed a piece of gum and did not swallow it!

He actually chewed it for about 10 minutes. When he started looking like he was getting tired of it, I asked him if he wanted me to take it from him. He said yes and I took it out of his mouth and wrapped it in a piece of paper. He looked annoyed and said, "You throw it away?"

I said yes and he said, "You supposed to put it in you mouth - not waste it."

As much as I love him, I don't plan to start chewing his old gum!!
