Don't Look in the Closet

Last night I reminded Luke that Don had told him he needed to clean his room. He came back a couple of minutes later and said he was done. I asked if Daddy would think it was done. He looked alarmed and asked, "Do you think Daddy will look in the closet?"

A Christmas Wish

On a Christmas card that Luke did at school...
"Mom I hope that you fel beter. Dad I hope that you dote git fird frem yrk!"
Translation - ... I hope that you don't get fired from work!
I was recovering from ankle surgery and apparently Don was slacking at work!

Haters Gonna Hate

Andrew: We were talking about prepositions today.
Ryan: I hate prepositions.
Andrew: For some reason everyone loves the preposition "but". And it didn't help when my teacher said, "How do you use but?"

War and Sweat

After a ginormous game of war, I heard Ryan say, "That game was fun!"
Luke ran after him yelling, "Yeah! But sweaty!"
